Dearest Night Owls,

Happy Friday to all of my special fellow creatures of the night. I hope all of you are stay safe and protected tonight. Not just tonight, but every night.

Today's dream was a not a bad one at all. I actually had another dream involving one of my favorite of all time musicians, Taylor Swift.

Say what you will about Taylor Swift, but she is like my spirit animal or like a soul sister to me. I hear her passion behind her lyrics, her melodies and it's like she is taking similar experiences that I have had and created songs about them. Yes, I am sure that other people can say the very same thing as I just did. You know why? Heartbreak and betrayal are not an uncommon phenomenon. The tragedy is that I am speaking the honest truth here. Taylor gets it and is just brave enough to share her stories through music. As Taylor grew and evolved, so did her music. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't jealous because, ummmmm....am I a millionaire after had several years of horrific missteps and a tragic upbringing? Nope, I am not. I want to share my story, of course, but I am not lyrical like Taylor Swift. Instead, I would rather share my story through words and storytelling. We all have a story to tell, it just takes courage plus time to share it.
