I hope you all are staying safe and warm. Is it freezing where you are right now? It is where I am. My goodness, it's like 34°F right now. The weather report is predicting snow in the Portland Metro Area on Thursday. Fingers crossed that the snow doesn't come with impossible driving conditions for those of us that still need to drive that day.
Today was a day of running errands and completing activities to prepare for Galentine's Day and Valentine's Day. What's Galentine's Day, you might ask? It's only the greatest day of the year, according to Leslie Knope on NBC's Parks and Recreation. If you haven't watched the television show, you should look it up. Galentine's Day is a pretty genius holiday because it is a day to celebrate the wonderful women in your life. It's all about ladies celebrating ladies. I am planning on adding a Galentine's Day post on the day itself (February 13th).
I admit, I woke up way too early today. I don't know why, exactly, because I don't believe that I woke up due to a nightmare. I did wake up to some text messages and missed calls waiting for me, but my phone was on silent so it wasn't the phone that woke me. I was pleasantly surprised by the text messages. One of the text messages was from someone for who I long to see, or at least talk to on the phone. Yeah, I am a selfish person because I can't help but wanting to see this person and/or talk to this person all of the time. I shouldn't want to, but I do.
