Dearest Snowy Night Owls,
Well, tonight, it's definitely snowing here in the Rose City. Please be safe out there, and stay inside if you can help it. It's nights like tonight that make me want to stay home and curl up by a nice fire. Instead, I am sitting in my car. I made it to work super early because of the uncertain driving conditions on the road. I am glad that I left when I did, but I still managed to arrive to work almost an hour early. A huge shout-out goes to the nice Fred Meyer employee who let me enter the store to purchase some kitty litter. Apparently, the store managers decided to close the store early. Smart, considering the roads are turning into one big block of ice.
The snow is really beautiful to watch, as it falls from the sky and dances its way onto the ground. It is also pretty windy right now, so the loose snow is dancing around the streets in quick moves. It reminds me of fog moving swiftly around the streets at night. I love the snow, but I am not a fan of driving in it. Unfortunately, my car does not have four wheel drive, but it has the standard two wheel drive. The kitty litter will come in real handy if I end up getting my car stuck in the snow. Just for extra precaution, I also went ahead and packed an overnight bag. You know, in the event that the snowfall gets worse overnight and I can't make it home. I really hope that I can make it home in the morning. Fingers crossed, night owls. I really want to make it home in the morning.
Today's dream was one that was super depressing. It definitely wasn't the nightmare scale that I experienced yesterday. Today's dream was about a tragic story playing out about a woman who ended up dying by suicide right before I woke up. It wasn't anyone that I recognize, or any of the others who appeared in my dream. It was like an episode of some weird docu-series that you see on networks like Lifetime or ID. I really am getting so literally tired of having so many depressing and heart-wrenching dreams.
In other news, my soul sister is re-releasing an album of hers. That's right, Taylor Swift is FEARLESS by taking back her own music that was bought and sold out from under her. Clever woman!
