Are my fellow night owls enjoying this lovely Sunday? Have you all acquired enough rest to take on the night? The sun is almost setting, and the night is almost upon us.
This night owl definitely didn't do much of anything during the day. My main goal, for today, was to mostly stay in bed and do nothing. I accomplished this goal, but I ended up doing some things that required getting out of bed.
I read some of my Crave novel, I binge-watched a lot of television, I played some board games with Evan, and I completed some chores around the house. Most importantly, I did nothing too productive and that is just fine with me.
The most important goal of the day was to relax, and I feel that I accomplished this goal. I know that I really need to do more to stay active, especially since I am registered to participate in two major Hood To Coast relays this summer with Team Cascadia. I am a novice runner, and I would love to make improvements before the first relay event, The Windy River Relay in July. I have until the later part of July to become a better runner. I would like to use my blog to write about my progress, pitfalls, tips, and exercise sessions other than running. Strength training has to be included in preparing for the upcoming relays this summer.
I am planning on staying in tonight, my dearest night owls. I have been worried about my Precious baby girl. She has been crying tears, from her right eye. Watching this just breaks my heart because I want to be able to comfort my baby girl. I don't know why she's crying right now. Is it because she has an irritated eye or is she in pain? I have no idea, but I am going to be keeping a close eye on her to see if the crying continues. If it does, I am going to push to take her to the vet to get her checked out. My baby girl needs to stay healthy and happy. She has only been with us since 2019, and has been living on the streets for far too long. On one fateful day, in August, she found her way into the backyard at my work. It was a gift from God, when this little creature just suddenly appeared in the backyard of my work. I will do what I have to for this gift from above.
I just love lazy Sundays. I am looking forward to going back to bed for the rest of the night. Precious will usually join me on the bed. Earlier, Precious laid on top of me. She was so close to my face, shoving her but against my mouth and nose. It was not the most comfortable place to be, but Precious seemed to really enjoy it.
