It's Monday, Let's GO!
Dearest Night Owls,
Happy Monday! Let's do this new week with confidence and exciting possibilities. I know that a great deal of my fellow night owls are winding down this Monday night. My Monday, technically, has just begun since I recently woke up. I will be starting my work week, here, pretty soon.
Today, I feel that I have already accomplished more than just sleeping during the day. This morning, I woke up at around 04:00 AM. I stayed in bed for a little bit, weighing the pros and cons for getting out of bed. I was still really tired, but I knew that I would have to go back to bed later on to adjust my sleep schedule for my upcoming work week. Eventually, I rolled myself out of bed. I still remember that the television was still on, and playing an episode of the Golden Girls via Hulu. It was the episode with "Mr. Terrific" on it. I recall that a lot of this episode leaked into my dream that I was experiencing, right before waking up. I find it odd, whenever the environment around me begins to influence my dream state. I remember having two different dreams, throughout the night, and both were centered around my work and animals. During my first dream, I vividly remember that I wished that I could contact the raven-haired mystery man. I was holding a baby pig, and thinking that the moment would be so much better if I could only talk to him. I don't know why pigs started showing up in the backyard, of my work, but that's what tends to happen in dreams. I mean, why not pigs?
Another weird aspect of my dream was the sudden change in scenery. My dreamscape went from backyard of my facility to beachfront in a matter of seconds. Suddenly, I was holding on to a baby pigs in my arms and staring off into a gorgeous view of the ocean. While staring off into the moonlit view of the peaceful sea, wild orcas started to emerge from the surface of the water. The orcas just appeared and started jumping out of the water, as if they were trying to show off for an audience. I suppose they were because I was watching them perform from where I was standing. It was one of the most beautiful sites that I could imagine, and it was all happening in my dream. In reality, I have had the honor of watching wild orcas jump out of the waters near here. I was on a boat, heading to Canada, and a pod of orcas appeared near the boat. Suddenly, one of the orcas started jumping out of the water. It was so incredible to watch. It's an experience that I am so thankful to have had, and I would love to experience again. In fact, in this reality, I would love to experience to observe a pod of wild orcas swimming around in the ocean at night. I realize that it might be difficult to do because orcas are mostly black in color and the middle of the ocean is often incredibly dark at night.
During the day, between 05:00 AM - 12:00 PM, I was able accomplish a great deal. I went to the grocery store, read some of the Crave book while working out on the stationary bike, put away some laundry, watched some television, played some of my app games, played with my cats, and browsed some of my old photos. I came across some old photos from my last trip to Crater Lake. It was June of 2017, and Crater Lake was covered in snow.
